THE MOST CANADIAN

I said I wouldn't post much postProd stuff and this is why. A very silly assignment where we were supposed to key out the background. Now that I'm posting it I can see all the grainy edges which I missed while I was working on it...
(godiva model provided, Tim Hortons theme from like 1991, and coffee and backgrounds found on youtube)

this is p. awful, but we remember how bad I was at zbrush when I first started, so there's still hope for me to be a compositor yet~

ART BIBLE SEPTEMBER MASHUP

2D Charlene. After many deliberations I will probably be going with Colour Swatch 4.

Charlene as of September 2014. Ready for rigging.
Some expression sheets. Will need to learn how to do expressive faces in rigging.

Size comparison ft. Recycled artwork~. Chiropteramon hasn't changed much since 2012, when I used this artwork in my Dawson college application form.
*tears are shed*

Colour swatches which make me feel like I'm running a cheap, deviantArt adoptable site.

Where the beast is at; September 2014. Still topology fixes; feathers, wing mesh. Close to rigging this bouy.

Environment Silhouettes. Done because it was a requirement tbh.

The top of the hill~

The dark and spooky cave where running around madly might save you from becoming dinner.

The ledge. I dunno if the breaking rock is feasible, or if i should just cheat it.

The environment. Reusing art from Matte Painting 2013. Who would have though I would actually just use that concept from back then lul.

Props. I don't want them but I feel like for the narrative's sake, I'm gonna have to run with using the map at least.

Some of the story beats I did for storyboarding last year. Good thing I had a chance to reuse them~. I like the interior cave colours so much in 2D, I feel like it's going to be much grimier and less interesting once I go into 3D. So here's a glimpse of how things would have been if I had pursued a career in 2D animation wow~

I dunno if I'll be posting much of my (intro to)PostProduction class stuff; it just feels... rushed, whilst I'm focusing more on assets and character models/rigs.

First assignment testing out AfterEffects: camera moves and planes to cheat 3D space.
